Donetsk, Jan 19 - DAN. Ukrainian servicemen planted 185 anti-tank mines next to the Kiev-controlled Krasnogorovka residential area west of Donetsk, the Donetsk People’s Republic militia reported on Tuesday.
“Servicemen from 28th Brigade 3rd Battalion planted 185 anti-tank mines on public roads in close proximity to houses in the Krasnogorovka settlement, without installing Mine Danger signs,” the report said. Local residents cannot leave the settlement being afraid of moving along the streets and triggering a mine explosion.
The DPR People’s Militia urged OSCE Special Monitoring Mission representatives to not only record the facts of mine planting, but also take measures against the violators in order to ensure the safety of movement for residents and prevent civilian casualties.*jk
