Donetsk, 24 Oct - DAN. Ukrainian forces planted more than 170 anti-tank mines and deployed six armoured vehicles in the Petrovskoye disengagement area, the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia reported on Thursday.
“Ukrainian armed formations continue to organise positions in the security zone in the Petrovskoye village area,” the DPR militia said. “Out intelligence spotted the planting of 174 anti-tank mines in the security zone and across the road between the Bogdanovka and Viktorovka villages.”
The militia also said that Kiev forces had deployed six armoured vehicles in the vicinity of Bogdanovka.
Bogdanovka-Petrovskoye is one of the three pilot disengagement areas in Donbass, in accordance with the Framework Agreement signed by the Contact Group participants in Minsk in September 2016. The last attempt to eliminate violations in this security zone was failed by Ukraine on October 9 - 11.*jk
