Donetsk, Aug 26 – DAN. Kiev forces have located Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers in Mariupol residential areas, the DPR People's Militia said.
"According to our intelligence, the enemy wants to conceal two pieces of 122 mm 2C1 howitzers 'Gvozdika' deployed to a Mariupol suburb in violation of the Minsk Agreements," the report reads.
Ukrainian armed formation also tried to disguise engineering works outside Gnutovo close to the line of contact. To disrupt the SMM monitoring efforts they used electronic warfare of the 305th electronic warfare battalion.
An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.
The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot
