Donetsk, Jul 31 – DAN. Kiev forces plan to install landmines in frontline townships north of Donetsk that are controlled by Ukraine, said the head of the DPR People's Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov.

"Two minelaying systems (UZM-type) have been deployed to the 56th brigade zone of responsibility, they are capable of planting mines at the distance up to 120 m," he said.

According to the plan, mines will be first installed in Opytnoye and Peski north of Donetsk, after than UZMs will be relocated to Gorlovka for the disposal of the 53 brigade.

A female citizen was killed in Zaitsevo by a landmine on July 25 as Ukrainian saboteurs installed in the night before.

Minelaying vehicles are used to install minefields from a distance; the UMZ is based on the ZIL-131 general purpose 3.5 tons 6x6 army truck and is used with various mine filed types. *ot
