Donetsk, Aug 19 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 68 times this week, firing four tons of shells, said the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC).

"Over the week, from August 12 to 18, 68 ceasefire violations were recorded; the total number of shells fired on the DPR is 531, or 65 ammunition boxes, or 4 tons."
Over this period, the enemy used heavy artillery of 122 mm caliber, and also fired mortar rounds of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber and tank gun rounds.

A man was injured, 22 houses and infrastructural facilities damaged.

Rounds under 12.7mm are not included in daily reports and statistics.

An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.
The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot
