Donetsk, Nov 19 - DAN. The night near the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka security zone was peaceful, and no shooting broke out in the morning either, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“The latest ceasefire violation was recorded on Monday evening, “ the JCCC said. “At 21:15, local time, the Ukrainian army opened small arms fire outside of the security zone within within the five-kilometre area.”
“Overall, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire in the Petrovskoye village area five times on November 18,” the JCCC said. The enemy used small arms and automatic grenade launhers. The DPR People’s Militia urged the OSCE Special Monitioring Mission to Ukraine to make Kiev observe the truce.
The first phase of mine clearnace in the Petrovskoye village area is expected to end on Tuesday. The conflicting parties had to carry out engineer terrain reconnaissance and defuse mine barriers and explosive hazards. *jk
