Donetsk, Mar 26 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire eight times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire eight times expending 21 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Volvo Centre, the Spartak and Yasnoye villages, the Alexandrovka and Staromikhailovka settlements on the Donetsk axis, and the Dolomitnoye settlement outskirts on the Gorlovka axis, the JCCC said.

The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In Staromikhailovka, shelling damage was caused to the houses at 16-18 Zhukovsky Street and a utility shed at 42 Kotsyubinsky Street.

Reports on Wednesday said that an officer of the DPR JCCC Office in Yasnoye had been wounded in sniper fire outside Dokuchayevsk and in Alexandrovka, a  house sustained shelling damage.

In the previous reporting period, Kiev army units fired 76 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
