Donetsk, Oct 20 – DAN. The Ukrainian army command has deployed three sniper teams armed with US large caliber rifles to Donetsk area, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.
"Activation of sniper teams is reported all along the contact line. According to information available to us, three sniper teams have arrived to the positions of Pravyi Sector group (Right Sector, a far-right Ukrainian nationalist political and paramilitary group of neofascist ideology) in the vicinity of Maryinka (west of Donetsk); snipers are armed with Barrett rifles of 12.7mm caliber," Basurin said.
In addition, 20 ukrainian tanks and artillery pieces have been spotted by DPR intelligence in the vicinity of the contact line. *ot
