Donetsk, Aug 3 - DAN. Ukrainian army units reinforced their positions in Donbass with self-propelled artillery, howitzers and tanks, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.

“Our intelligence continues to record the massing of forces and hardware, banned under the Minsk Agreements, along the contract line,” Basurin said.

According to the Republic’s intelligence, 20 152mm Akatsia self-propelled howitzers and 122mm D30 howitzers arrived in Kiev-controlled Konstantinovka area (28 kilometres from the contact line). Six tanks were spotted in Dzerzhinsk area on Gorlovka axis (five kilometres from the contact line).

“A squadron of ten tanks moved along Krasnogorovka’s main street towards Maryinka on Thursday morning,” Basurin said.

Earlier reports on Thursday said Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 77 times over the past 24 hours, firing almost 400 rounds at DPR frontline areas.*jk
