Donetsk, Jul 10 – DAN. Ukrainian army deployed conscript soldiers to Donbass, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
"The growing lack of personnel forced Ukrainian armed forces to deploy conscript soldiers to the so-called ATO zone, in violation of the authorities' order. Conscript soldiers are used to dig trenches and serve at checkpoints."
The Operations Command said that the conscripts from the 72nd and 28th separate mechanized brigades based in Avdeyevka north of Donetsk and at Mariupol axis.
Basurin also said that while Ukrainian army lacks soldiers it keeps firing contract servicemen.*ot
