Donetsk, Aug 19 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire six times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire six times expending 48 rounds of ammunition (the amount of expended ammunition of caliber up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the Dolomitnoye settlement area on the Gorlovka axis, the Krutaya Balka and Zhabunki settlements on the Donetsk axis and the outskirts of the Belaya Kamenka and Leninskoye villages on the Mariupol axis. The enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms.

The Ukrainian representatives in the JCCC ignored all requests by Donetsk to establish a ceasefire, the DPR Office said.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire four times.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
