Donetsk, Mar 26 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 19 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 140 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 19 times expending 142 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at the city airport, the Spartak and Mikhailovka neighbourhoods in the outskirts and suburbs of Donetsk, Gorlovka’s neighbourhoods of Zaitsevo, Gagarin Colliery and Colliery 6/7, Yasinovataya, the adjacent Mineralnoye township and the Yakovlevka and Vasilyevka villages in the outskirts of the town, he added. The Leninskoye, Oktyabr, Sakhanka and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR also came under fire.

The enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire nine times firing more than 60 rounds at the DPR.*jk*pp
