JCCC: Ukrainian forces shell DPR with almost 230 rounds in 24 hours

Donetsk, Dec 12 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended almost 230 shells targeting DPR territory in the past 24 hours, violating the ceasefire 19 times, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

“Ukrainian armed forces fired 228 rounds. The number of ceasefire violations is 19," he said.

He said the fire was opened on Donetsk airport area; Spartak, Aleksandrovka, Lozovoye, Elenovka, Sakhta Trudovskaya; Gorlovka, Shakhta Gagarina, Zaitsevo; Yasinovataya, Krutaya Balka, Vasilyevka, Leninskoye.

The enemy used 120 mm mortars, anti-aircraft gun, grenade launchers and small arms of large caliber.

Ammunition under 12.7 mm caliber is excluded from the daily report.
In the previous 24 hours the enemy fired 166 rounds in 24 ceasefire violation incidents. *ot
