Donetsk, Apr 7 - DAN. Four Donetsk People’s Republic militiamen have been killed and another 26 have been wounded over the past 24 hours, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.

“We regret to inform that four DPR defenders have been killed in the line of duty over the past 24 hours and another 26 have been wounded,” Basurin said.

He conveyed his sincere condolences to the families of the killed militiamen.

The enemy has been suffering greater losses though. Reports on Thursday morning said that DPR militia units had killed 83 Ukrainian radicals and destroyed nine enemy fire positions over the past 24 hours.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a special military operation in Ukraine. On the same day, the forces of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics launched a liberation movement in  Donbass.*jk
