Donetsk, Feb 22 — DAN. The number of artillery attacks on the Donetsk People’s Republic by Kiev gunmen is expected to increase within the next few days, DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin said on Wednesday.

“There’s information that Ukrainian armed formations will step up the shelling in the next two or three days, ” Pushilin said. “Our artillery units are conducting active counterfire, and air defense is on high alert.”

The DPR leader urged the population not to move around the streets unless necessary.

Last night, Ukrainian forces delivered missile strikes at the towns of Debaltsevo and Makeyevka causing damage to their infrastructure.*jk
