Petrovskoye, Oct 7 - DAN. DPR units have completed the pullback of forces and hardware in Petrovskoye area, DPR correspondent reports.
The DPR units were dislocated to Petrovskoye. Personell and hardware were pulled back, namely munitions, small arms and cargo vehicle URAL, two infantry fighting vehicles.
The Ukrainian units had to pull back to their back area positions simultaneously. "Ukraine confirmed the pullback of hardware, personnel withdrawal begins," Russia's chief representative to JCCC Major-General Alexander Serzhantov told DAN.
"According to JCCC representatives, Ukraine confirmed the pullback of forces and hardware on its side", DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said later. The process is also verified by OSCE observers.
The Contact Group has agreed the date of disengagement in Petrovskoye area south of Donetsk at a meeting in Minsk on October 5th. The pullback was set to October 7th 11 a.m.
Initially the disengagement was scheduled for October 1st but it was postponed due to Ukraine's fail to start the process. In LPR area of responsibility the disengagement was completed in Zolotoe area, while in Stanitsa Luganskaya pullback was disrupted by Kiev. Another attempt was re-scheduled for October 3rd but Kiev forces could not carry out the disengagement either.
