Donetsk, Oct 10 – DAN. DPR started demining territories in vicinity of Petrovskoye village, south of Donetsk, where the pullback of forces and hardware was carried out on October 7th, Republic's Defense Ministry said today.

"Our engineers started mine clearance in proximity of Petrovskoye on October 9th, as it was planned. Demining is to continue today as well," the interlocutor said.

Earlier DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said that demining in Petrovskoye area was to start on October 9th. Mine clearance in the disengagement area is an integral condition of the framework Agreement on Disengagement signed by the Contact Group members on September 21-23.

Initially the disengagement was scheduled for October 1st but it was postponed due to Ukraine’s fail to start the process. DPR units have completed the pullback of forces and hardware in Petrovskoye area On OCtober 7th. In LPR area of responsibility the disengagement was completed in Zolotoe area, while in Stanitsa Luganskaya pullback attempts were disrupted by Kiev. The latest attempt was re-scheduled for October 9th but Kiev forces could not carry out the disengagement.
