Donetsk, Oct 12 – DAN. A DPR resident has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for spying in favor of Ukrainian security service, the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office press service said.
A criminal investigation by the DPR Ministry of State Security revealed that a DPR resident was recruited by Ukrainian security service in 2016 and carried out its tasks. From August 25, 2016 until January 2, 2018 he collected data on People's Militia units locations, their organization and security and reported any changes.
The Appeals Chamber of the DPR Supreme Court has sentenced him to 10 years of imprisonment in a maximum security correctional facility under Art. 321 (Espionage) DPR Criminal Code. *ot
