Donetsk, Oct 11 – DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic service members who arrived in the Petrovskoye area for the third attempt to disengage forces and hardware, as envisioned by the Minsk Agreements, fired a white flare to confirm their readiness to withdraw forces.
On October 9 and 10 DPR attempted to begin the renewal of disengagement, but Ukraine failed to fight a flare to notify the Republic on its willingness to proceed.
October 11 is the last day to embark on the disengagement in accordance with the plan endorsed by the Contact Group on October 1.
The OSCE SMM is present in Petrovskoye and Zolotoye to monitor the process of elimination of violations of the disengagement agreement. *ot*рр
