Donetsk, Dec 6 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic representatives at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination have helped agree more than 1,200 local ceasefires since September 2017, head of the DPR Office at the JCCC Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“The Office has handled 1,240 ceasefire requests since September 2017,” Yakubov said.
“Of those, 816 ceasefires were requested for repairs on facilities in the proximity to the contact line (357 security guarantees to electricians, 421 to the Voda Donbass utility and 38 for gas pipe repairs) and 424 for international humanitarian operations in frontline areas,” he added.
On top of that, the DPR Office at the JCCC looked into 98 facts of ceasefire violations by Ukrainian servicemen.
Earlier reports said that the Donbass Republics representatives at the JCCC had their first joint meeting in Donetsk on Thursday.*jk
