Donetsk, Jul 13 - DAN. Ukrainian troops that fired at Donetsk People’s Republic areas over the past 24 hours have suffered losses, the DPR People’s Militia reported on Tuesday.
Earlier reports on Tuesday said that Ukrainian armed formations had violated the ceasefire four times since Monday. The Kiev army fired almost 90 rounds of ammunition at DPR settlement areas on the Donetsk, Gorlovka and Mariupol axes.
“DPR militia units were forced to return fire using weapons not banned by the Minsk accords. The enemy fire activity was supressed,” the report said. “Ukraine’s losses amounted to one killed and three wounded, according to updated reports from the Joint Forces Operation headquarters.”
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
