Donetsk, Sep 9 — DAN. A Snezhinka missile launcher on a KrAZ truck chassis has been sighted on a road in the Republic.
It is transported by a tow truck. The twin-missile launcher is uncharged.
The truck crew refused to give details regarding the transportation of the launcher or its belonging to any militia unit for confidentiality reasons.
The Cheburashka and Snezhinka missile systems produced by DPR defense companies were unveiled to the public in May 2018. Snezhinka is equipped with two launch ramps for 324mm missiles with a firing range of 9,600 meters. The launchers were partially used during the Donbass conflict but there have been no reports on their tactical employment since Russia began a special military operation in the region.*jk
