Donetsk, Aug 15 – DAN. Ukrainian armed forces have deployed Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems and Strela anti-aircraft missile systems to the contact line outside Gorlovka, said the head of the DPR Armed Forces press service Daniil Bezsonov.
"According to Tarasovka (40km west of Gorlovka) residents, the fighters of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade have positioned 2C1 122mm artillery systems and Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile systems among residential houses."
He said the equipment is located in close proximity to a school.
DPR intelligence reports Kiev’s regular deployment of military equipment to the conflict zone. Under the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements signed by the Contact Group on February 12, 2015, the sides have to pull back their artillery systems of 100 mm caliber or more to a distance of 50 kilometers, multiple launch rocket systems Tornado, Uragan and Smerch to a distance of 70 kilometers and Tactical Missile Systems Tochka to a distance of 140 kilometers.
The Attachment to the Minsk Agreements signed in September provides for the parties’ withdrawal of their artillery systems of under 100 mm caliber, as well as tanks and mortars. Despite the accords, Ukraine regularly shells DPR areas. *ot
