Donetsk, Jan 6 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled Donetsk People’s Republic more than three thousand times over the past week, a DPR defense official said.
"The number of strikes amounted to 3,365. Artillery, tanks and mortars were used to shell the Republic in 804 cases,” DPR Operations Command deputy commander Colonel Eduard Basurin told a news briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Friday.
Basurin said that 15 towns and villages were hit this week, six households were damaged in Zaitsevo, Trudovskiye and Sakhanka.
DPR intelligence reported two batteries of Ukrainian self-propelled artillery systems Akatsia, MLRS Grad, D-30 howitzers and two tank sections in Gorlovka area.
Ukrainian MLRS Uragan and self-propelled artillery system Gvozdika, two tank companies in Donetsk area were spotted.

All these arms were located in the zone from there heavy weapons should have been withdrawn under the Minsk Agreements.
