Donetsk, Sep 29 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ‘school ceasefire’ 177 times over the past week firing almost 470 mortar and artillery rounds, the head of the DPR Armed Forces press service Daniil Bezsonov said on Friday.

“Overall, 177 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces have been recorded,” Basurin said. “The enemy fired 469 artillery, tank guns and 120mm, 82mm mortar rounds.

The enemy targeted 21 frontline townships in DPR. Petrovskiy district of Donetsk, Yasinovataya, Dokuchaevsk and Kominternovo are among the most affected areas.
"One serviceman has been killed, another injured defending their country," Bezsonov said.

Over the last 24 hours the DPR Command has recorded 23 ceasefire violations on the Kiev's side. At 5.50 a.m. several explosions were recorded next to the JCCC observation post in Yasinovataya. The officers have been evacuated to a shelter. Spartak village came under tank guns fire. Yasinovataya railway station came under fire.

The ‘school ceasefire’ has been agreed to by the sides as the new academic year is to begin in Donbass on September 1. It came into force at midnight August 25. *ot
