DPR Command: Ukrainian army intensifies reconnaissance in southern sectors of front

Donetsk, Jan 5 – DAN. Kiev forces have intensified aerial reconnaissance using UAVs on the Mariupol axis, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.

"The enemy has intensified aerial reconnaissance using UAVs and reconnaissance groups in the vicinity of Mariupol, the area of responsibility of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade."

Basurin said, citing intelligence sources, that Ukrainian army command plans to reinforce the 28th separate mechanized brigade located in the southern frontline area with the personnel and equipment of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade.

DPR Operations Command deputy commander urged the OSCE SMM to pay attention to Ukrainian army relocating its strike weapons to the line of contact. *ot
