Donetsk, Jun 15 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire six times over the past 24 hours firing some 70 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire six times,” the report said.
Fire was delivered at the outskirts of the Zhabunki settlement in northern Donetsk and the Leninskoye, Sosnovskoye and Ukrainskoye villages in southern DPR. The enemy used 120mm mortars and grenade launchers. Overall, 67 rounds of ammunition were fired, the JCCC said.
Earlier on Tuesday, the DPR Emergencies Ministry reported that an unoccupied house in Sosnovskoye had burnt down and that another house had been damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, special operations, engineer works at troops positions and use of unmanned aerial vehicles, except for OSCE UAVs.*jk
