Donetsk, Aug 12 — DAN. The servicemen of the DPR People’s Militia and Russian armed forces have destroyed two rocket artillery platoons and six howitzer platoons, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
“As part of the counter-battery efforts, two Grad MLRS platoons were destroyed outside Serebryanka and Soledar. Two Akatsia howitzer and four D-30 howitzer platoons were destroyed outsideGeorgiyevka, Konstantinovka, Novgorodskoye, Vesyoloye, Andreyevka, Dzerzhisk,” the Ministry said.
Fuel depot and for ammunition depots were destroyed outside Kramatorsk, Krasnogorovka, Avdeyevka and Zaitsevo.
Russia started a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the decision was made after the DPR and LPR Heads addressed him asking for help.
The Russian leader said that Moscow is not planning to occupy Ukrainian territory, the only goal is to protect people who have been continuously shelled and subjected to other forms of genocide by Ukraine for eight years. *ot
