Donetsk, Aug 18 - DAN. No strikes at the Donetsk People’s Republic have been recorded over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, no ceasefire violations by Ukrainian armed formations have been recorded,” the report said.
The Ukrainian army last opened fire at the Republic on August 14 targeting the areas of the Spartak settlement and Yakovlevka outside Donetsk.
At the same time, the enemy regularly violates the additional ceasefire control measures. On Monday, Kiev reportedly used a drone in an attempt to carry out aerial reconnaissance in southern Donbass.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. A ban is imposed on the use of any weapons by the conflicting parties, as well as on any offensives including deployment of hardware to the frontline, mining and further organizing of positions. The use of unmanned aerial vehicles is prohibited as well.*jk
