Donetsk, Mar 7 — DAN. Ukraine has handed over 90 servicemen to Russia following POW exchange talks between Moscow and Kiev, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday.
“As a result of negotiations, 90 Russian servicemen who faced mortal danger in captivity have been brought back from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime, ” the Defense Ministry said.
The servicemen will be flown to Moscow for medical treatment and rehabilitation in Defense Ministry hospitals.
In mid-February, Kiev handed over 101 Russian servicemen to Moscow including a priest and nine DPR fighters. On February 4, 63 Russian servicemen including seven mobilized DPR fighters returned from Ukrainian captivity.*jk
