Donetsk, Apr 26 — DAN. Forty Russian servicemen have been freed from Ukrainian captivity following talks between Moscow and Kiev, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.
“As a result of negotiations, 40 Russian servicemen who faced mortal danger in captivity have returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime, ” the Defense Ministry said.
The servicemen will be flown to Moscow for medical treatment, rehabilitation and psychological help in Defense Ministry hospitals, Defense Ministry representatives said.
In early April, 106 Russian servicemen were freed from Ukrainian captivity.*jk
