Donetsk, Oct 23 — DAN. Russian forces have eliminated 285 Ukrainian gunmen and military equipment on the Donetsk axis and three drones in the Artyomovsk area, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday.
“On the Donetsk axis, Task Force ‘South’ units supported by aircraft and artillery repelled five enemy attacks inflicting damage on 23 manpower and equipment concentration points of Ukraine’s 77th Air Mobile Brigade, 5th Assault Brigade and 10th Mountain Assault Brigade in the areas of Kleshcheyevka, Soledar and Berkhovo Reservoir, ” the report said. “Enemy losses amounted up to 285 servicemen killed or wounded; Russian forces also destroyed one T-72 tank in the Krasnogorovka area and one Kirpi armored fighting vehicle in the Artyomovsk area.”
Four 120mm mortars in the Ivano-Daryevka, Kleshcheyevka and Kranoye areas were knocked out in counterbattery duels. Three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, one FPV drone and four HIMARS projectiles were downed by air defense crews and small arms fire in the areas of Berestovoye, Artyovmosk and Krasnaya Gora in the Donetsk People’s Republic.*jk
