Donetsk, May 15 - DAN. Donetsk’s  A.Solovyanenko State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre personnel will travel to St Petersburg’s to see their Mikhailovsky Theatre colleagues at work and share experience, the Russian Centre press service told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.

“Donetsk’s A.Solovyanenko State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre director general Yevgeniy Denisenko and his deputy Igor Ivanov went to St Petersburg to share experience and familiarise themselves with the Mikhailovsky Theatre’s creative process,” the press service said.

Denisenko and Ivanov who will stay in St Petersburg till May 17 plan to see the Sleeping Beauty ballet.

Representatives of the Republic’s museums have also left for Russia for pooling of experience. Five employees of Donetsk, Gorlovka and Enakievo museums will attend the seasonal opening of the ethnographic complex Ataman in the Krasnodar Territory on Tuesday. They are expected to see the Taman museum complex, the Church of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God and the Voyennaya Gorka open air military equipment museum.

The trips were arranged and funded by the DPR Russian Centre.*jk
